Joseph Fuge
Son of God, student of Management Information Systems at Brigham Young University (BYU), Technology Intern at Blackhawk Network, and one of fifteen volunteer service council members at BYU Y-Serve.
My primary interests at the moment are NLP with machine translation and Generative AI in non-English languages as well as backend software development.
I am a committed servant, leader, and learner. I have led more than 50 voluntary representatives in Argentina as well as participated in club and local religious leadership, and my love for service and desire to inspire others to pursue their potential lead me to oversee BYU's Community Clean-Up program. I currently spend my time on a Java backend and React frontend at Blackhawk.
God comes first.
My passion for learning is most evident with languages, having learnt Spanish fluently. Currently, I am working on Portuguese and Korean.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, being active, reading, and serving others - particularly through meaningful personal connection and conversation.
